Geogrid

PET Geogrid

PET Geogrids are woven from high-tenacity polyester yarns with PVC coating, offering high tensile strength and low elongation. Available in biaxial and uniaxial types, they reinforce base courses, steep slopes, and retaining walls. The open mesh ensures aggregate interlock, while the coating resists UV and installation damage. These geogrids improve load distribution, reduce base thickness, and extend service life for infrastructure projects.

PRODUCT DETAILS

High-Strength Material Structure

Premium Polyester Yarn & Advanced Weaving Technology

Manufactured from high-tenacity continuous polyester filament yarns, PET Geogrids undergo a precision weaving process to form a dimensionally stable mesh. The grid is then impregnated with a durable PVC coating, which encapsulates each yarn bundle to provide additional protection against environmental stress, abrasion, and chemical attack during service life.

Excellent Reinforcement Performance

Improving Bearing Capacity and Structural Stability

By interlocking with surrounding soil or aggregate materials, PET Geogrids significantly enhance shear resistance and load transfer mechanisms. The high tensile modulus restricts lateral movement of base materials, reducing rutting and deformation. This enables thinner pavement sections while maintaining structural integrity, delivering measurable improvements in roadway performance and slope stability.

Effective Separation and Drainage Function

Preventing Aggregate Migration and Extending Service Life

The geogrid acts as a separation layer, preventing fine subgrade particles from migrating into the base course under cyclic loading. The open-grid design also facilitates lateral drainage, reducing pore water pressure buildup. Together, these functions preserve material gradation, minimize maintenance requirements, and provide long-term engineering reliability in demanding ground conditions.
