Geotextile

PP Woven Geotextile

PP Woven Geotextile is a high-strength polypropylene woven geotextile designed for soil reinforcement, separation, filtration, drainage, and erosion control applications. Manufactured from premium polypropylene yarns, it offers excellent tensile strength, puncture resistance, and low elongation performance. The product effectively improves the bearing capacity of weak soils, reduces settlement and deformation, and enhances structural stability in various construction projects. With UV stabilization and strong resistance to chemical attack, it provides reliable long-term performance in harsh outdoor environments. Available in multiple strength grades, with a maximum width of 5.2m, PP Woven Geotextile is widely used in roads, railways, embankments, slopes, retaining structures, hydraulic facilities, and heavy-load construction areas.

Product Details

High-Strength Polypropylene Woven Structure

Premium Material & Advanced Manufacturing

PP Woven Geotextile is manufactured from high-quality polypropylene yarns through advanced weaving technology, creating a strong and stable woven structure. The high-density weaving process provides excellent tensile strength, dimensional stability, and durability under long-term loading conditions.

UV stabilizers are added during production to improve resistance against sunlight exposure, temperature changes, and chemical environments, ensuring reliable outdoor performance.

Excellent Soil Reinforcement Performance

Improving Bearing Capacity and Structural Stability

PP Woven Geotextile is designed to reinforce weak soils and improve the bearing capacity of foundations, roads, and embankments.

Its high-strength woven structure effectively distributes external loads, reduces deformation, prevents uneven settlement, and enhances the overall stability and service life of engineering structures.

Effective Separation and Drainage Function

Maintaining Structural Integrity

The geotextile provides excellent separation performance by preventing the mixing of subgrade materials and surrounding soil. This helps maintain the quality and stability of construction layers.

Its filtration and drainage properties allow water flow while controlling soil migration, reducing erosion and improving long-term project performance.

Wide Range of Applications

Suitable for Infrastructure and Civil Engineering Projects

PP Woven Geotextile is widely used for:

  • Railway ballast reinforcement
  • Highway and road construction
  • Temporary and permanent access roads
  • Parking lots and heavy-load areas
  • Embankment and slope reinforcement
  • Retaining and protective walls
  • Hydraulic engineering projects

Advantages Of PP Woven Geotextile

Advantages 1
Improve the bearing capacity of the soil at the structures to be constructed on soft and poor bearing soils
Advantages 2
It is used as reinforcement layer at the roads as it creates low elongation under high tensile strength. It minimizes deformations such as uniform subsidence and washout caused by vehicle wheels
Advantages 3
Prevents mixing of subbase material with soil and enables protection of load bearing capacity and minimizes the loss if material used at the backfill
Advantages 4
Prevents deterioration at the soil, particularly at the road construction works,by immediately absorbing some of the load and by creating a reverse force at the edges of the zone where local subsidence occurs
Advantages 5
Although geogrid reinforced structures are recommended for side slope stability,it is possible to use latticed geotextiles. This application prevents loss of soil in case of flood.
